". . . little shall I grace my cause

In speaking for myself. Yet, by your gracious patience,

I will a round unvarnish'd tale deliver . . ."

So what do you think?

Was he looking? Or wasn't he?

The debate rages.

I don't know about Mr. Obama, but I think the expression on Mr. Sarkozy's face speaks for itself.

I think if you take several thousands of pictures of a person each day, you're going to find snapshots that can carry any message you want. The president may have been looking. He may not have been, and it's just a picture taken out of context. I hate it when "they" do it to people I like, and I hate it when conservatives do the same thing back at the liberals.

It's fair to disagree with the man's policies and his ideology. But it's not right to question his integrity (or lack thereof) because of one snapshot that may not even be showing what it purports to show. I can't believe this has made the rounds of news reports like it has.

Quite right.

Also quite right. Just to be clear, I'm not claiming to know what the picture shows. And even if he was looking, so what? He's a guy. Guys look at girls. I don't see it as a reason to question his integrity (there are plenty of other valid reasons to do that). I just thought it was hilarious in the way all the details lined up at that moment in time. And I didn't realize it had gotten all that much press. I just heard about it tonight (from--who else?--Sean Hannity) and had to go looking for details online.

I didn't think you were saying the president was being out of line. I guess I've just spent a day or so being disgusted at the people who are trying to slam him for this picture. And like you said, so what if he did look?

This just in: President Obama is in fact a normal human male, and not a messiah.

The man IS human!

Whew.

Now, back to "reforming" health care, and whether or not Sarah Palin can whither men's manhood with a single glance or whether she needs to aim her rifle, too.
