". . . little shall I grace my cause

In speaking for myself. Yet, by your gracious patience,

I will a round unvarnish'd tale deliver . . ."

Sidebar Addition

I have added a new element to my sidebar: a listing of entertaining and thought-provoking sites related to English language and literature. It is still under construction, so if this topic is one that interests you keep checking for more additions and to see what form this feature ultimately takes. Hat tips to Elephant's Child and Amused Momma for pointing me to several of the links!

I have used DailyLit dot com to read a few classics. I still prefer a book I can take to the couch with me, but I like that resource.

Love the Vocabular Reclamation Project site! Although it's fairly inactive now, there's archives to dig through and enjoy!

Oh, just noticed what you use for Elementary Science. We know the authors quite well, Richard and Debbie Lawrence. Richard serves on the CHEC board, and my husband, Mike, and I work for CHEC in various capacities. Plus a couple of the Lawrence kids and our kids did NCFCA Speech and Debate for a few years and so we always bumped into each other at those tournaments. I LOVE their curriculum, which Debbie mostly writes. She makes science FUN!
