Looking on the Bright Side

So, it's a good thing that my 2-year-old Concise OED is falling apart because it is never, ever sitting on the bookshelf but instead sees more action in our house than a Harry Potter novel, right?

It is a good thing.

We pull our OED out during dinner a lot when we're all having some dispute about a word or its origins. It's pretty geeky, but the kids have learned a lot.
