Who is the man in the background and what is he doing? Btw, great job Trevor!

Glenda, that's Phillip. He is playing the orchestra part (arranged for piano) to accompany the solo piano part. This performance was for a concerto competition, so only concertos were allowed. The competitors were not just pianists but string, woodwind, and brass players as well. Each of them was accompanied by a pianist playing the orchestral reduction. The winner of the competition will get to perform with the hosting symphony in a few months.
