In speaking for myself. Yet, by your gracious patience,

I will a round unvarnish'd tale deliver . . ."

How Times Have Changed

Me and Trevor in December, 2000, at a Young Naperville Singers choir concert for which he sang and I played

Me and Trevor in October, 2010, following a Chicago Blaze chess team match in which his win helped secure the team's berth in the 2010 United States Chess League playoffs

Can someone please tell me where the years have gone?

I LOVE to look at photos of children growing up like that. My oldest son just turned thirteen last Sunday and I was going through photos to do a life time-line in photos post about him. (I did one of my daughter turning eleven the week before! Wow.)

As to the years, I've always loved the line in the song "Sunrise Sunset" from "Fiddler on the Roof" -
"Sunrise, Sunset, swiftly fly the years. One season following another, laden with happiness and tears."

Great pics. And I think the cummerbund and bow-tie look would make a great uniform for the chess team...
