To Read

I'm adding this one to my reading list. Here's the Amazon link and here's the publisher's link. Has anyone out there already read it?

Sounds vaguely familiar, but I'm not sure why. I don't think I've read it.

Sounds fascinating. Let me know what he says about the 4th Crusade and the sack of Constantinople.

This does sound interesting. I've always found the modern hand-wringing about the crusades to be pretty overblown -- applying modern standards of behavior to a very different time -- but I can't think I've heard anyone make the case *for* the Crusades.
