Thankfulness

Evan has been learning about Thanksgiving in preschool. Yesterday the children were instructed to draw on a piece of paper what they are thankful for; then the teacher wrote the words to accompany the drawings.

Here's what my 5-year-old is thankful for:

Mom

Swords

Thunder

Lightning

Light sabres

Swords (I didn't make a mistake; they're on the list twice)

Please note that "Mom" is number one on the list! :-) And by the way, in the picture he drew of me, I am holding a light sabre that is about three times my size.

Go, Mom!

I had a son like that... now he's nearly 18 and we visited a college where he'll attend. Though secretly, I miss watching Star Wars.

Cheryl,

We have Star War fans at our house too. They boys love it! I actually like Star Wars too. We have 6 light sabers...and the boys think we need more. Four of them were formerly their cousins....but I still think we have too many.

Hahahaha. That's awesome, and congrats on beating swords at the top of the list!

Wow - I'm going to be super-safe when I visit your house, what with you being armed and all.

Star Wars is not a secret thing here at the house...Dark Horse Comics and other book publishers pretty much have a guaranteed income from us.

Trivia: General Grievous didn't always have that raspy breathing. He suffered an injury battling a Jedi. Who was the Jedi, and what's quite interesting, how did the Jedi injure him?
