And Finally, This

This is a concert version of the Kyrie Eleison that can be heard at the end of last week's "Shine, Jesus, Shine" video.

We were amused by the emcee's pronunciation of the group's name: "Jubilate" should be pronounced "Yoo-bee-lah-tay," not "Joo-bi-late." :-)

Yum-o. I was blessed at my public high school to have a Christian choir director. When a few parents pressed her because the majority of our pieces were sacred, she would respond that 98% of the world's music is sacred, and it was difficult to find secular pieces that taught a skill.

Give that woman a pay raise.

Letting you know that I have linked to the Kyrie Eleison and the Cantate Brasillia! on my Facebook wall. Outstanding, especially for a grade school choir. I have two sons who are music teachers, and they will be impressed.
