I will a round unvarnish'd tale deliver . . ."

My sister-in-law took all of these. Can you tell she has a better camera than I?

I love to see a show of affection from a couple who has obviously been married for a relatively significant amount of time (I'm guessing from the teen-aged children that it's significant).
I think that kiss says a lot.

(p.s. after reading your comments on the "ladyness" subject, I just wanted to say you look very nice in that little denim skirt in one of those pictures!)

Leah, thanks for the compliment. Actually, though, it's a skort, not a skirt. Big difference. :-)

And yes, you are right, we have a few years behind us. Twenty-three years this past March, working on 24. :-)

Cheryl - where in the world were you that there was a Berghoff? Is this any way related to the Berghoff which closed in Chicago? Just curious. I thought they were completely gone.

Karin, the Berghoff did close for a while, and it was supposed to be forever. But it is my understanding that the family's plan to focus on catering and several small cafes did not work out financially, and they ended up reopening the restaurant. I'm not sure exactly when that was, just glad it happened!
