New Hampshire Presidential Debate

My take on last night's GOP debate in one word per candidate (sorry, that's all I have time for today):

Mitt Romney - presidential*

Michelle Bachmann - impressive

Newt Gingrich - articulate

Herman Cain - unprepared

Tim Pawlenty - solid

Rick Santorum - indistinct

Ron Paul - brilliant

(*Don't blast me on this one, okay? Doesn't mean he's my first choice. But right now, he's got the "presidential" thing down.)

Missed it entirely (I was at a dance class.) Too bad about Cain and Santorum, though.

Dance class! Fun! Ballroom?

To be clear, I thought overall everyone did well. But I don't think Santorum has carved out his niche yet (Pawlenty is also struggling to do that), and as much as I like Cain he doesn't give me that sense of confidence I am looking for. I think he is still figuring some things out, and I would like a candidate who has it all figured out and is ready to lead me in the path in which he is headed.
