I will a round unvarnish'd tale deliver . . ."

Blizzard of 2011

Some shots from the Blizzard of 2011, in no particular order.

Back yard with snow touching bottom of granny swing
Snow drift on front steps

View out the front windows

Front yard

View out the front door

Shoveling a path for the beagle

The driveway is done, but the front steps await!

And the shoveling begins

Our neighbor helped.

Almost done!

Front of the house

There are some steps under there somewhere!

View across the street

Phillip standing in a snow drift in front of the neighbor's house.

Snow piled up in front of the garage.

Collapsing before he even began.

Staying warm with love.

Shiloh exploring

Back of the house (no sunroom!)

Phillip sitting on the swing with his arm buried in the snow.

It's a snow recliner!

That is a CRAZY amount of snow!

(and wow, your house looks GOOD with that sunroom gone!)

My brother-in-law lives on the north side of Chicago and he shared with us similar pictures of the Snowmageddon. It wasn't quite so bad here in the northern suburbs of Detroit.

I think you need a tripod so that you can be in the family photos!!

Yeah, Holli, it is hard to get us all in the same shot!
